Want to email bigger files?

Have you ever try to break down your attachment into smaller parts because you have hit the attachment limit per email? Most email providers cap the attachment at 10MB because they do not want people to email big files as it might affect their server performance. What can you do to overcome it? We provide ftp services too, and we allowed you to create different ftp directories for different people, and you are also able to multi-password-protect those directories for authorised personnel to view/download only. Here I will show you how you can use another open source tool, filezilla, to quicken your files upload. Once you have downloaded the program, installed it and open it up. You will see something similar to the screen below.

  1. Open the Site Manager. This one allows you to save different ftp sessions, but let us ignore it for now.
  2. Enter the Host: [Enter your domain name]
  3. Enter the Username: [Enter your user name given]
  4. Enter the Password: [Enter the password given]
  5. Enter the Port: 21
  6. Click on Quickconnect button

That’s it - you are connected.

Once you are connected, you will notice something similar to the screen above. The upper left box lists the current folder in your pc, while the upper right box list the directory in the server.
